Last Tuesday’s election results are expected to be certified this week.
Some appear to be concerned that Gov. McCrory eliminated the Coal Ash committee, after courts ruled the NC Legislature overstepped its authority by naming the committee.

Names to consider, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods along with many others. Golf is a great game, wish I had pursued as a hobby…well, to be truthful, I did. I am not, was not a good golfer.

I see where Mental Health has been reorganized. The number of agencies have been reduced and the areas expanded…..From bad to worse. One person’s opinion, (mine). The best service we ever had was when Dr. Douglas was the CEO with an office in Lumberton and the service area included Bladen, Columbus, Robeson and Scotland counties. Every county had an office and if you had a problem, you knew where to go. It was not perfect, but in my humble opinion, much better than what we have had in the past 30 to 40 years. Mental Health is one of the most neglected area of service in the state.
