Robert Hester, Founder of BladenOnline.comGuess no one worked in Great Britain over the past few days … Impressive, but … The Queen is finally in her final resting place, beside her late husband…

Weather forecast for the next day or so…
Patchy fog early today, then sunny, with a high near 92. Mostly clear tonight, with a low around 67. Wednesday, sunny, with a high near 92 … Thursday, sunny with a high near 94 … then a big change … High Friday near 77 … Fall weather…

I remember years and years ago … My dad worked for $1 dollar an hour, logging or at Bladenboro Cotton Mill … usually long hours to feed a family of 6 children. My job as the oldest was to cut enough wood to last til next day, and sometimes the wood was green and that was not good … Daddy was not a happy camper … My promise was to do better … Occasionally he would splurge and purchase a bag of coal … dirty heat … Does anyone use coal today? Never see it…

Remember as a youngster dreaming about what you would do after you completed your education? How did that work out?

I am among men most richly blessed…

“I like that they snuck the word “strum” right in the middle of “instrument”

“Just once I wish the McDonald’s drive thru would say “I Love You Too.”

“Sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m hungry or bored.”
