Here are Three Things to Know for Monday, February 17:
1. The Three Rivers Conference basketball tournament opens tonight. The East Bladen and West Bladen girls will play at home while the East Bladen boys will play away. The second-seeded East Bladen girls will host East Columbus at 5 p.m. and the fourth-seeded West Bladen girls will square off against Fairmont at 6. 2. The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Assembly Room on the first floor of the Bladen County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.
3. Moores Creek National Battlefield Anniversary commemorating the 244th anniversary of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge is scheduled Saturday and Sunday. Demonstrations, programs, games and more.
