GREENWOOD, SC – Former West Bladen star Trevor Lesane batted 4-for-5 with 4 runs batted in to lead his Erskine Flying Fleet to a 15-4 non-conference baseball victory over Queens University Friday.

Lesane hammered a base-loaded double to centerfield in the 3rd inning that cleaned the bases and stretched the Erskine lead to 6-0. In the 4th inning, Lesane singled, stole 2nd base and raced home on Livan Reinoso’s single to stretch the lead to 13-1.

The Tar Heel native cracked another single and stole another base in the Flying Feet 6th inning. Lesane drilled a triple to right field in the 8th inning that scored Armando Becerra. Lesane also scored on the play to pad the final margin to 15-4.

In Erskine’s 12-10 loss to Lander on Thursday, Lesane batted 2-4 with an rbi and 2 runs scored. He led off the 3rd inning with a single and sprinted home on an error to give the Flying Feet an early 2-1 lead.

After Lander snapped a 6-6 tie with 6 runs in the 9th, Lesane knocked in a run with a single in the home 9th and later scored on a sacrifice fly to slice the final margin to 12-10.

Lesane has started 3 games for the Flying Feet this season and is batting .500 with 4 runs scored, 5 rbi’s and 9 total bases.

Erskine will travel to Barton College for a Conference Carolinas double-header on Friday, February 18th.
