Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club in Whiteville has several events upcoming through the end of September, including free junior clinics and the club championship.
• August 15 – Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association, 10 a.m., reverse shotgun
• August 15, 16, 17 – Free Junior Clinics, 8:30-10 a.m.
• August 19-20 – Club Championship, tee times
• August 29 – Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association, 10 a.m., reverse shotgun
• September 9th – Toy Store, all day
• September 22 – Partnership for Children, 9:30 a.m., shotgun
Junior Clinics
Land O Lakes, along with the First Tee program, are offering a back to school mini-camp for Juniors. The clinic is free, just show up. Bring water and sunscreen as it is summer time.
Club Championship
Saturday August 19, 10 a.m. tee times, and Sunday, August 20, 1 p.m. tee times
Players will be flighted by tees/handicap and prizes awarded for Gross winners in Blue tee flight and Gross and Net winners in all other flights. Must play Blue tees to win overall Club Championship. All USGA rules will apply weather permitting.
