CLINTON – Clinton defeated West Bladen 3-0 Thursday night in the Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball opener for both teams by set scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-7.
Junior Jenna McLean filled up the stat sheet for West with 5 service points, 3 kills, 4 assists and 1 dig. Senior Whitney McLean hammered in 5 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces and a service point. Junior Trinity Meares smacked in 2 kills and 3 service points.
Senior Emily Young spiked in 5 kills, a block, 1 service point and had 3 digs for the Lady Knights. Junior Maddie Walters slammed in 3 kills and 4 service points. Senior Kylie Durden racked up 3 service points, 1 ace and 3 digs. Sophomore Kierra Lewis knocked in 3 blocks.
West Bladen will host East Bladen Thursday night.
