ROSE HILL – After dropping the first set, East Bladen rallied to defeat Union 3-1 Friday night in Four County Conference volleyball action by set scores of 13-25, 25-13, 25-15 and 25-19.
Senior Lexie Mendell led the Lady Eagles with 19 service points, 7 aces and 8 kills. Teammate Faith Johnson poured in 22 service points and 6 aces. Senior Anna Grace Long fired in 12 service points, 3 aces and 3 kills.
Senior Alexa Hernandez racked up 12 service points, 2 aces and a kill for East. Sophmore Ashley Hardin knocked in 8 service points, 2 aces and 2 kills. Teammate Jozee Strickland tallied 6 service points.
Junior Hannah Devane finished with 4 service points and a kill for the winners. Junior Kaley Smith added a pair of service points.
