BLADENBORO – St. Pauls battled back from a 2-1 deficit to win the final 2 sets and edge West Bladen 3-2 in Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball action Thursday night by set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 21-25, 25-23 and 15-10.

Senior Keira Lewis racked up 30 attacks, 10 kills, 9 service points and 2 blocks at the net for West. Senior Trinity Meares poured in 28 attacks, 10 kills, 2 blocks, 9 service points including 1 ace and had 3 digs. Sophomore Emme Bryant came up with 5 digs.

Lady Knight senior Maddie Walters pounded in 18 attacks, 13 kills, 2 blocks and 9 service points including 1 ace. Senior Jenna McLean hammered in 19 attacks, 14 service points including 3 aces, 5 kills and had 2 digs.

Junior Marlene Crabtree smacked in 21 attacks, 6 service points including 2 aces, 3 kills and had 2 digs. Freshman Greer Pope dished out 23 assists, collected 2 digs and knocked in 5 service points including 2 aces, 4 attacks and 2 kills.

The Lady Knights, now 1-2 in SAC-6 play and 6-9 overall, will host Fairmont Tuesday night.
