WHITEVILLE – Whiteville defeated East Bladen 3-0 Thursday night in the Lady Eagles volleyball non-conference season-opener by set scores of 25-22, 25-8 and 25-15.
The Lady Wolfpack jayvees won the preliminary match 2-0 over East Bladen by set scores of 25-10 and 25-8.
East Bladen will travel to North Brunswick Monday for another non-conference match.
