Spread the love

by Bladen Online Team

Every Thursday, the BladenOnline Team publishes a new video with recipes. In last week’s video, Nicole and Charlotte celebrated National Egg Day. Also, they made roasted broccoli and baby carrots with baked chicken breasts for National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month. And for dessert, apple slices with cream cheese dip!

Following are the ingredients and directions the team gave in the video.

Ingredients:

Chicken and Veggies:

  • Chicken
  • Citrus herb seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • Broccoli
  • Baby carrots

Deviled Eggs:

  • Eggs
  • One tablespoon mayonnaise
  • One tablespoon mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Dessert:

  • Apple
  • Cream cheese dip
  • Marshmallow fluff

Instructions:

Chicken and Veggies:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°.
  2. Put olive oil and seasoning in the chicken and settled it in a pan.
  3. Toss some olive oil and seasoning on the veggies (Broccoli and baby carrots). Then stir it up.
  4. Place the chicken and the veggies in the same pan.
  5. Stick the pan in the oven to 375°.
  6. Check it after 30 minutes,

Deviled Eggs:

  1. Get water on the boil.
  2. Tip: If you are not sure your eggs are fresh, fill a pot with water and put the eggs on it. If the eggs sink, they are good, but if they float, they are not fresh.
  3. Put the eggs on the boil for about 10 minutes.
  4. Once ready, peel the eggs. Tip: To easily take the peel off, put the eggs in Tupperware and shake it for about 17 seconds.
  5. Cut the eggs in half.
  6. Take the yellow part out and put it in a bowl.
  7. Add mayonnaise and mustard to the yolks.
  8. Add some salt pepper and mix it up.
  9. Bring your filling back together with the white part of the egg.

Dessert:

  1. Enjoy your apples while you cook! Nicole and Charlotte used cream cheese and Marshmallow fluff as dip 🙂

This week, the team is going to be celebrating National German Chocolate Cake Day!
