BLADENBORO – Junior Alyssa Smith made four saves and recorded a shutout in goal Wednesday night as her West Bladen Lady Knights defeated Red Springs 6-0 in Three Rivers Conference girls soccer action.
Six different players scored for the Lady Knights. Freshman Haley George fired in a goal and dished out an assist. Freshman Hannah Hester, seniors Hannah Arnett and Reina Cruz, and sophmores Josefina Taboada and Ocean Woody scored one goal each for West Bladen. Senior Winter Graham was credited with an assist.
Coach Kristen Parker’s Lady Knights evened their league record at 4-4 and are 4-7 overall. West Bladen will travel to St. Pauls Monday.
