DUNN — West Bladen’s Daniel Gustafson placed fifth and the Knights finished third Monday in the opening Southeastern Athletic Conference golf match played at Sandy Ridge Country Club.
Gustafson shot 41 on the front nine and 42 on the back nine. He finished three shots out of second place.
Midway’s Kaison Marley was medalist with a 70, winning the match by 10 shots. Midway won the team competition with a 320 score.
