ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen defeated South Robeson 5-0 Thursday in a Three Rivers Conference women’s tennis match that ended early due to weather.

The final singles match was not completed, and none of the doubles matches were played. By winning the other five singles matches East Bladen had already clinched the victory when the weather stopped play.

Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles evened their record at 1-1. The East Bladen at West Bladen match that was scheduled for Monday has been postponed until Oct. 4th. East Bladen will play at Whiteville Tuesday at 4 p.m.
