WILMINGTON – East Bladen’s boys and girls basketball teams will both play Tuesday in the Hoggard Holiday Classic at John T. Hoggard High School. Coach Patty Evers’ unbeaten Lady Eagles (8-0) will battle Wilmington Ashley (4-2) at 12 noon in the Jim Hebbe Gym.
Coach Aking Elting’s Eagle boys (3-3) will play Ashley’s boys (1-5) at 1:30 in the Sheila Boles Gym.
On Wednesday the East Bladen boys will play Topsail (3-5) at 12 noon in the Boles Gym followed by the Lady Eagles against the Topsail girls (6-1) at 1:30 also in the Boles Gym.
