Cameron Revels completed the no-hitter with an inning of work on the mound for the Bulldogs, 6-2 in the Southeastern Athletic Conference and 12-4 overall. St. Pauls was charged with one error.

East Bladen is 4-4 in SAC games and 8-6 overall. The Eagles are scheduled to play Terry Sanford at 1 p.m. Saturday in the first round of the Terry Sanford High Easter tournament. The Eagles also will play Monday and Tuesday.

The closest East Bladen came to a hit Thursday night came in the fifth when Coleman Tatum lofted a fly ball to short left field that dropped in, but baserunner Jake Futrell, who had walked, was forced out at second base. Under scoring rules, the play is a fielder’s choice since a runner was forced out on the play.

Henderson struck out five and walked two before leaving after five innings with the Bulldogs ahead 9-0. Revels struck out two of the three batters he faced in the sixth.

Evan Pait, the starter, took the loss. He allowed three runs, one earned, on three hits and three walks with six strikeouts in four innings. Coleman Tatum pitched the final two innings and was charged with seven runs on seven hits with a walk.

St. Pauls broke it open with a six-run fifth inning that made it 9-0. The rally was highlighted by Candelaria’s blast to deep center field and the speedy catcher was able to circle the bases.

St. Pauls’ final run came in the sixth when Will Brooks doubled, stole third and scored on Candelaria’s sacrifice fly.

Kamarion Baldwin was 3-for-3 with three runs scored for St. Pauls. Revels was 2-for-3. Candelaria was 1-for-3 with 4 RBIs.
