Kayleigh Raynor and Lauren Bowen combined to strike-out 9 batters and pitch a 3-inning no-hitter to lead the Glory to a 12-0 victory over the Racers in Bladen Recreation 11-12 Softball action Thursday night at County Park.

Raynor struck out all 6 batters that she faced in the first 2 innings. Bowen hit Sydney Gardner with a pitch to begin the third inning then struck out the next 3 batters.

Katie Evans was hit by a pitch to start the Glory first inning. Raynor walked, and Alyssa Futrell belted a single. Merritt Martin was hit by a pitch, and Evans, Raynor and Martin scored runs to put the Glory up 3-0.

Evans led off the Glory second with a single, and Bowen knocked her in with a single. Raynor connected for a single that scored Bowen.

Futrell, Martin, Weslyn Hall, Luz Ramos and Evans drew walks, and Raynor and Futrell scored runs as the lead grew to 7-0.

Bowen ripped a single to start the Glory third inning. Raynor, Futrell, Martin, Hall, Carington McDowell and Ramos drew walks, before Evans and Bowen cracked singles. Bowen, Raynor, Futrell, Hall and McDowell scored runs in the inning.

Bowen batted 3-3 to lead the Glory hitters. Evans finished 2-2 at the plate, and Raynor and Futrell added one hit each for the winners.
