Bladen Recreation’s 12U Girls All-Stars open the State-Wide Activities Committee (SWAC) Sectional Friday night at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School in Roseboro.
The Bladen County team will play Sampson County at 6:15 p.m. With a win Bladen County would advance to an 11 a.m. game Saturday against Carteret County. If Bladen County loses Fridaynight, they will play in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The tournament championship games are set for Sunday afternoon.
Members of the Bladen County All-Star team are: Makayla Dixon, Kailey Heath, Shabrea Geathers, Georgia Hester, Iveonna Ward, Leidi Labra, Mary Frances Sutton, Cara Priest, Laila Smith, Ella Campbell, Cabria Baldwin and Emma Heath.
Head Coach of the Bladen All-Stars is Whitney Lee. Assistant coaches are Doreen Hall and Jermaine Henry.
