ELIZABETHTOWN – 2018 East Bladen grad Blair Potter has been named the new cheerleading coach for both the varsity and jayvee Eagle cheer squads.

Named an All-American Cheerleader in high school, Potter cheered on the East Bladen varsity for all 4 years of her high school career. She was named Most Valuable Player her junior and senior years.

Potter graduated from UNC-Wilmington in May with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Strategy. She is currently teaching Middle School Art and Marketing at Emereau Bladen Charter School.

Coach Potter will be holding cheerleader practices on Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 11-12) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in preparation for cheerleader tryouts on Friday (Aug. 13) at 4:30.

Participants need to be registered on the school’s Family ID system and have a current physical.
