SHALLOTTE – Junior Malcolm Bolden scored the game’s only goal in the second minute of play Wednesday night, and the East Bladen defense made it stand up as the Eagles claimed a 1-0 non-conference boys’ soccer victory over West Brunswick.
Senior Joel Johnson delivered the assist to Bolden that resulted in the winning goal.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Eagles improved to 3-1 and will host Topsail Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
