RED SPRINGS – Red Springs built a 3-1 first half lead Wednesday night en route to a 4-1 Southeastern Athletic Conference boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen.
Senior Joshua DeLeon fired in the game’s 1st goal 16:11 before halftime to put the Knights ahead 1-0, but the Red Devils scored 3 goals in the final 8:21 of the half to take the 3-1 lead.
Sophomore Cade Allen recorded 5 saves in goal for the Knights, and junior Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez had 12 saves in goal for West.
The Knights, now 5-9-1, will host Red Springs Thursday night.
