BLADENBORO – Junior Christopher Ramirez Labra rang up a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Thursday night as West Bladen blanked South Columbus 7-0 in non-conference boys’ soccer action.

Junior Kevyn De La Cruz Labra fired in 2 goals for the Knights, and freshman Alejandro Lopez Sandoval and senior Darwin Garcia scored 1 goal each for the winners.

Senior Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez and junior Cade Allen combined on the shutout in goal for the Knights, and both of them were credited with 4 saves.

Ramirez led the Knights with 13 steals and also took 6 shots. Senior Daniel Gustafson finished with 12 steals for West. Junior Brady Durden collected 10 steals, and sophomore James Vasquez-Garcia totaled 7 steals.

Allen came up with 6 steals, and Lopez Sandoval, Eddie Labra, Jason Martinez-Sanchez, Aiden Russ and Bryant Ortiz-Aguilar all finished with 5 steals.

De La Cruz Labra launched 9 shots, and Lopez Sandoval had 7 shots.

Coach Kristen Parker’s Knights improved to 3-11 and will host St. Pauls Monday night.
