CLARKTON – Six games were played Sunday afternoon to conclude the Buddy Burney AA All-Star Scholarship Games at the Clarkton DYB Complex. The Bladen County All-Stars played Red Springs in one of the scrimmage games.

The games were used for Coach Pitch (AA) All-Star teams to prepare for their district tournaments and also to raise money for Dixie Youth Baseball Scholarships.
The AA state tournament will held in Clarkton beginning July 2. The Dixie Youth Baseball Major League state tournament is scheduled to be played at Leinwand Park in Elizabethtown beginning July 16.
