The Carolina Bengals signed players and cheerleaders Saturday in East Arcadia as the team prepares for its inaugural season.
East Bladen gradate Larrell Murchison, who plays for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, was at the event.

The Bengals, who are based in East Arcadia, are playing to play their home games at Legion Stadium in Wilmington. The team is a member of the Coastal Football Alliance, which is a semi-professional league. Although a schedule has not been released, the team is planning to begin its season in August.
