CARY – West Bladen junior Demon’tre Love finished 24th Saturday in the NCHSAA Class 2A MidEast Cross Country Regionals with a time of 18:22.62.
Junior Jack Anstrom of Seaforth won the regional with a time of 15:44.95.
Southeastern Athletic Conference champion Cristian Ortiz of Clinton placed 12th in 17:29.15.
