BaseballRED SPRINGS – Lumberton National defeated Elizabethtown 11-0 Monday night in an elimination game in the District 9 Dixie Youth Baseball AAA (Minors) Tournament.

“We never got the bats going,” said Elizabethtown Coach Kevin Dunham. Elizabethtown managed two hits in the game.

Garrett Dunham lined a single to right field in the first inning and reached third base on an error but was stranded there.

After Cooper Padrick and Colton Daly drew walks in the Elizabethtown third inning, Conner Padrick belted a single, but Cooper Padrick was thrown out at the plate. After a walk to Davion Lewis, Elizabethtown left the bases loaded.
