The weather man is promising almost perfect weather for the Dublin Peanut Festival and the races at Dublin Motor Speedway this weekend. It will be a day of fun at the festival and the Rattlesnake will finish the evening with excitement! The parade will kick everything off at 10:00 am on Saturday, with RJ Bailey attending as the Grand Marshall for this year’s 23rd Annual Dublin Peanut Festival.
The parade will be followed by some great beach bands entertaining the crowds, food and craft vendors, face paining, rides for the kids and a lot more. There may even be politicians out shaking hands at the festival as well.
In conjunction with the festival, Dublin Motor Speedway will host a 40 lap Super Late Model race with a purse to win of $4000, according to Richard Bailey. The Rattlesnake is also offering a 25 lap Limited Late Model race with the winner receiving $1,500.
