DUBLIN – Lumberton’s Brian Strickland took the checkered flag Saturday night in the Late Model race at Dublin Motor Speedway to claim his first Dublin win of the season.

It was the best finish for Strickland’s #13 car at ‘The Rattlesnake’ since a third-place Late Model finish on April 8th. Jonathan Ward drove the #17 car to a second-place finish, and Randy Guyton followed in third place.

Linden’s Andy Boahn drove the #66B car to his second straight Dublin victory in the Open Wheel Modified race. It was Boahn’s third win of the season at Dublin. Wake Forest’s Christian Thomas placed second, and Fayetteville’s David Taylor was third in the #14 car

Marion’s Johnny Moore (#57 car) posted his third win of the season in the Super Street race and snapped the 2-race Dublin winning streak of Myrtle Beach’s Benji Thompson (#03 car) who finished second. David Yarbough claimed third place.

Parkton’s Elvin Matthews (#72 car) snapped the 4-race Dublin winning streak of Ryan Gilbert (#14 car) in Pure Stock. Gilbert finished third. It was the second win at Dublin this season for Matthews who has also posted a trio of second-place finishes. Jesse Klass drove the #16 car to a second place finish.

Chris Reeves (#3 car) who finished second in the May 20th U-Car race moved up to the winner’s circle with a win on Saturday night. David Kelly drove the #15 car to a second place finish, and Larry Eldridge (#8 car) claimed his third consecutive third-place finish in U-Car at Dublin.
