Earl Pearson, Jr of Jacksonville, FL won the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Rattlesnake Rumble feature at Dublin Motor Speedway Saturday night. Pearson drove the Dunn-Benson Ford Longhorn to pick up the $10,000 winner’s check.

Three-time Ultimate Champion Casey Roberts of Toccoa, GA took the $5,000 second place check behind Pearson, and two-time Ultimate Champion Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, SC finished third and won $3,000. 2011 Ultimate Champion Chris Ferguson of Mt. Holly, NC was fourth and won $2,000.

Ferguson was the fastest qualifier with a lap of 15.137 seconds and also won the 8-lap B-Main Race on Saturday night. In Friday night’s preliminary heat races, the winners were Pearson, G. R. Smith of Statesville and Zack Mitchell of Enoree, SC.

In the Southeast Dirt Modified Series race, Taylor Cook of Stanley, NC drove the #21 car to the winners’ circle and and picked up the $1,500 top prize. Andy Boahn took second place, and Slater McCray finished third.

Dustin Mitchell won the Late Model race over Zack Cox who moved up from fourth place last week to second place this week. Last week’s runner-up Robbie Turner finished third.

Johnny Moore drove the #57 car to his second straight Dublin victory in the Super Street race. Donovan Jackson finished second, and David Royal moved up from fifth place a week ago to third place this week.

Ryan Gilbert was another repeat winner at Dublin as he drove his #14 car to victory in Pure Stock. Just as he did last week Elvin Matthews placed second behind Gilbert. Jimmy Capps finished in third place.

Dillon Thompson won the U-Cars race. For the second straight week Joey Wilkes was the runner-up in U-Cars and Chris Bron finished third. Last week’s winner Glenn Register finished eighth.

Next scheduled race night at Dublin is Saturday, May 13 with racing in all divisions.
