TABOR CITY – Columbus County defeated Bladen County 4-1 Tuesday night to advance to the Dixie Youth Baseball District 2 Majors Tournament championship game.
Bladen County was eliminated with the loss but will still advance to the North Carolina Division 1 Majors State Tournament and will play the host Elizabethtown team on Saturday, July 17th at 8 p.m at Leinwand Park.
Columbus County will play unbeaten Whiteville National at 6 p.m. in the District 2 title game.
