BURGAW- East Bladen seniors Karly Ross and Molly Evans have been selected to the All-Waccamaw Conference volleyball team.

Ross (pictured above on right) came up with 28 digs for the Lady Eagles, distributed 29 assists and knocked in 3 aces. Evans (pictured above on left) dished out a team-high 60 assists, fired in 13 aces and 7 kills and had 7 digs.

David Marlowe of Waccamaw champion South Columbus was named Coach of the Year. The Lady Stallions Lauren Richardson was selected as the Player of the Year. South Columbus also placed Carmen Buck, Emily Worley, Jordyn Turbeville, Jada McDowell and Rhea Lee on the all-league team.

Whiteville was represented by Charleigh Hewett, Serenity Harvey and Emmy Williams on the honor squad. East Columbus placed Malia Graham, Serenity Shufford and Destiney Mitchell on the all-conference team.

Other all-conference selections included: Trask – Chloe Barnhill, Sophie Williamson and Jalyn Reece-Murray; Pender – Alaina Pate and Grace Bordeaux; West Columbus – Kennedy Scott and Jayliene Franklin.
