Spread the love

Event organizers announced the event scheduled for October 9, 2021, was rescheduled due to sickness. A benefit bike ride and plate sale will be held for a 29-year breast cancer survivor, Christine Moody, who is now facing the fight against breast cancer again. The event is now planned to be held on October 23, 2021.

In March of this year, Christine was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer that has spread throughout her body.

Christine would greatly benefit from support from her community, as she faces the medical expenses of chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatments. Her family stated, “Please come out and join us, as she has supported and worked many benefits in the past and now it’s her time.”

The event will be at 3715 US Highway 701 North in Elizabethtown, at Elvis and Christie’s home.

Bike registration will be from 9 am until 10 am. The cost to participate is $20 per single rider, and $25 for double riders.

Boston butt plates that include slaw, baked beans, dessert, and a drink will be sold for $8, beginning at 11 am. A 50/50 drawing and an auction will take place following the bike ride.
