East Bladen’s Lady Eagles pounded Wallace-Rose Hill with a 24-0 second quarter blitz en route to a 57-22 Four County Conference girls’ basketball victory Friday night at East.

The Lady Eagles had taken a 15-7 first quarter lead, before the 24-0 run in the second period produced a 39-7 halftime lead. The margin was stretched to 51-14 after 3 periods.

Junior Lacey Suggs drove for lay-ups and hit outside shots to lead the East Bladen scoring with 24 points. The junior star also grabbed 10 rebounds to post a double-double and was credited with 7 steals.

Senior center Imani Turner-Dobson dropped in 14 points for the Lady Eagles. Turner-Dobson also blocked 7 shots and pulled down 5 rebounds.

Senior Abbey Norris tossed in 8 points for the winners. Junior Christiana Cromartie dished out 7 assists and scored 4 points for East Bladen. Shardajah Brown came off the bench to chalk up 4 points for the winners.

Justice Carr topped the Lady Bulldog scoring with 18 points.
East Bladen remains unbeaten on the season and improves to 12-0 in the Four County and 22-0 overall. The Lady Eagles will travel to winless Union Tuesday night.
