CLINTON – Clinton built an 8-1 halftime lead en route to a 10-1 victory over East Bladen Wednesday night in the non-conference girls soccer opener for both schools.

Seniors Taylor Spell and Kayla Yang and freshman A.P. Sinclair scored 2 goals each to lead the Clinton attack.

Sophomore Mya McDonald fired in the East Bladen goal off of a feed from junior Katie Evans. Junior Lily Lin recorded 11 saves in goal for the Lady Eagles.

East Bladen will begin Three Rivers Conference play Wednesday at St. Pauls.
