BLADENBORO – West Bladen posted their 1st Southeastern Athletic Conference women’s tennis victory of the season with a 6-3 over Fairmont Tuesday.
Juniors Kaden Thurman and Lainey Autry, freshman Kiera Lewis and sophomore Brookee Singletary claimed singles wins for the Lady Knights. The doubles teams of Thurman/Autry and senior Courtney Hester/sophomore Yari Santana won their matches as well.
“Great win for the Lady Knights against a very good Fairmont team,” said West Bladen Coach Billy Bryant.

McNeill/Pearson (F) def. Mauri Flores/Dakota Stone(WB) 8-2
The Lady Knights evened their overall record at 3-3 and are 1-2 in league play. West Bladen will travel to Red Springs Thursday for a 4 p.m. match.
