East Bladen star Ja’Tyra Moore-Peterson has been chosen to play on the North Carolina team in the Carolinas All-Star Basketball Classic in Wilmington in March.
Moore-Peterson will join Lady Eagle Coach Patty Evers who was named as head coach of the North Carolina team back in August. Moore-Peterson who has signed to play basketball next season at UNC-Pembroke accepted the invitation to play on the all-star team this week.
The 5-10 senior has averaged 13.5 points, 4.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 steals this season as the Lady Eagles have posted a 17-1 record and a perfect 12-0 Three Rivers Conference mark.
Forty of the top basketball players in North and South Carolina will participate in the Carolinas Classic.
