ORLANDO, FL – East Bladen senior Javius Brooks played at running back Monday for the winning Lokahi team in the Hawaii Tiki Bowl Class of 2022 All-Star Game at Camping World Stadium.
Brooks had a couple of nice runs in the 2nd quarter for gains of 7 and then 5 yards to convert a 4th down play as his Lokahi team rallied for a 24-14 victory over Ikaika.
The Hawaii Tiki Bowl is a football showcase type event that has input from collegiate coaches and national recruiting services. It is normally held in Hawaii but was moved to Orlando this season due to coronavirus restrictions in Hawaii.
