ELIZABETHTOWN — Parker Greene and D.A. Smith each drove in three runs and Lee Barnes and Na’Toren Corbett each scored three times Wednesday as the East Bladen junior varsity baseball team opened its season with a 15-4 win against South Columbus at Russell Priest Field.

Carson Gooden and Barnes combined to scatter six hits, strike out five and walk two while not allowing an earned run in the game that was stopped in the bottom of the fourth inning because of the time limit. Gooden pitched the first three innings.
