BLADENBORO –Alljah Miller and Kane Jenrette combined to score 11 points in the final period as North Brunswick rode a 13-9 closing surge to a 44-40 victory over West Bladen Tuesday night in non-conference jayvee boys basketball action.

Elijah McCollum drained a 3-ball in the final period for the Knights, and Cade Allen sank a basket and 2 free throws to keep West Bladen close.

McCollum and Connor Monroe shared scoring honors for the Knights along with Gavin Elks. All 3 of them scored 7 points each. Noah Hall, Allen and Tyleak Ballard followed with 5 points each.

Miller led all scorers for the Scorpions with 11 points. Aamere Montgomery followed with 7.

The Knights, now 2-3, will travel to West Columbus Friday.
