ELIZABETHTOWN — Tevin McLean scored nine points and Malikah Moore had eight as the East Bladen junior varsity basketball team remained unbeaten with a 44-13 non-conference win against South Columbus on Tuesday.

The game was delayed for 30 minutes while waiting for a second official. It was played in two 15-minute halves with a running clock with only one official calling much of the first half. One of the officials for the varsity games helped call later in the game.

East Bladen (5-0) is scheduled to play at Heide Trask on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Moore scored his points in the first half and Khalil McKoy added seven as East Bladen scored 17 consecutive points after spotting South Columbus a pair of Easton McPherson free throws to open the game.

A three-point play by Kewane Maynor and a bucket by Shannon Hankins staked the Eagles to a 26-8 advantage with 11 minutes remaining to play. McLean scored his nine points in the second half.
