RED SPRINGS D. Wilkins threw in 6 of his 13 points during an 11-3 Red Springs surge that carried the Red Devils to a 30-27 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys basketball victory over West Bladen Tuesday.

West Bladen led 12-10 at halftime but managed to score only a Damarion Bryant 3-ball in the 3rd period as the Red Devils went up 21-15.

Jamari Adams fired in a trio of baskets in the final quarter, and Bryant added a basket and 2 free throws. Justin Spaulding tossed in a basket, but the Red Devils held on for the win.

Bryant topped the Knight scoring with 12 points. Adams followed with 6 points, and Keonta Hill netted 4 points.

Hill pumped in a basket and 2 free throws in the 1st quarter, and Bryant buried 2 free throws to keep the Knights within 9-6. Bryant bombed in a 3-ball, Ayden Williams popped in a basket, and Spaulding hit a free throw as West edged ahead 12-10 at halftime.

West Bladen, now 2-3 in the SAC and 5-8 overall, will visit Clinton Friday night.
