CLINTON — Demarion Bryant blistered the nets with a trio of 2nd half 3-point shots to finish with 14 points and lead West Bladen to a 39-34 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys’ basketball victory over Clinton Friday.

Bryant, Keonta Hill and Jamari Adams fired in 3-point shots in the 3rd quarter as the Knights rallied from a 14-13 deficit. JaQuan Lesane flipped in a basket and a free throw as West jumped in front 25-23.

Bryant bombed in a pair of 3-balls and another basket in the final period. Adams, Lesane and Ayden Williams tossed in baskets as the Knights pulled away for the win.

Adams followed Bryant on the winners scoring list with 10 points. Lesane and Justin Spaulding added 5 points each. Tylen Moore led Clinton with 14 points, and Dustin Pike netted 6 points.

Adams poured in a 3-point basket and 2 other baskets in the 1st half for West. Spaulding sank 3 free throws, and Bryant buried a 3-point shot to keep the Knights within 14-13 at halftime.

Coach Joe Harris’ Knights evened their SAC record at 3-3 and improved to 6-8 overall. West Bladen will host Midway Tuesday.
