BLADENBORO- Midway scored the winning goal with 2 minutes remaining to edge West Bladen 3-2 Monday in Southeastern Athletic Conference junior varsity boys’ soccer action.
Freshman Jonah Bryan drilled in a 1st half goal for the Knights, and freshman Enrique Rodriguez-Gonzalez scored with 22:05 remaining to play to give West Bladen a 2-1 lead.
Midway tied the game with a goal at the 8:52 mark before getting the game-winner with 2 minutes left. Freshman Dylan Hernandez was credited with 10 saves in goal for the Knights.
West Bladen, now 4-2 on the season, will host Clinton Wednesday.
