ELIZABETHTOWN – Aaniyah Jackson and Mariah Smith combined for 17 points to lead East Bladen to a 29-20 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over South Columbus Friday.

Aaniyah Jackson led the Lady Eagles with 9 points, and Smith followed with 8 points. Azariah Rhodie chipped in with 4 points for East.

The Lady Eagles raced to an 8-3 first quarter lead and padded the margin to 19-11 at halftime.

Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles will travel to Red Springs Friday.
