Purnell Swett edged West Bladen 21-19 Friday night in non-conference jayvee girls basketball action at West.
Sophmore Indiyah Williams tossed in 4 of her team-high 6 points in the opening period as she led the Lady Knights to a 6-3 lead. Swett rallied back in front 10-8 at halftime and held a 14-13 lead at the third quarter break.
Sophmore Mikayla Winebarger scored 3 of her 5 points for West in the final period, but the Lady Rams squeaked out the victory. Freshman Conner Brisson finished with 4 points for West Bladen.
