Pender defeated West Bladen 2-0 Tuesday in Four County Conference volleyball action at West by game scores of 25-14 and 25-11.
Patience Parker led the Lady Knights with 5 service points, a kill and a block. Freshman Raegan Davis hammered in 3 kills and 3 blocks. Sophomore Mikayla Winebarger tallied 4 service points, an ace and a dig.
Sophomore Elizabeth Allbright knocked in 3 kills and had 2 digs for West. Alise Pait knocked in 2 kills, and Bethany Strickland contributed a kill and a dig.
The Lady Knight jayvees are now 1-2 in league play and 5-4 overall and will travel to Clinton Thursday at 4:30.
