RED SPRINGS – West Bladen’s jayvee volleyball team claimed their first win of the season Thursday with a 2-0 Three Rivers Conference victory over Red Springs by game scores of 25-12 and 25-16.

Sophmore Jordan Benson hammered in 7 aces and a service point to lead the West Bladen attack. Sophmore Erica Storms fired in 5 aces, a kill and a service point. Freshman Khadijah Jones slammed in 3 aces and 3 kills.

Amelia Brisson drilled in 3 aces and a kill, and Madison Cain knocked in 3 kills for the winners. Alana King smacked in a kill and 2 service points. Freshman Taylor West pounded in an ace and a kill, and Indra Rodriguez tallied a service point.

The Lady Knights will host East Columbus Tuesday at 4:30.
