19 year old Hunter Kennedy of Deep Run, NC died Wednesday afternoon when his pickup was struck by another truck that failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 241 and Sarecta Road near Beulaville.
The accident occurred shortly after noon time Wednesday.
His pickup truck was struck by another pickup driven by Jay Willard Friss. Friss has been charged with death by a motor vehicle and failure to stop at a “duly erected stop sign.”
Visitation will be held Friday night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his parents Johnny and Marilyn Kennedy and brother, Ty Kennedy, all of Deep Run. Grandparents are Clarence and Joyce Kennedy of Deep Run and Curtis and Marie Ludlum of Bladenboro.
