East Bladen grad Larrell Murchison has been named National Junior College All-American Honorable Mention as a defensive lineman. Murchison, a 6-4 290-pound sophmore, was a captain for the undefeated Louisburg Hurricanes this past season.The Elizabethtown native was credited with 29 solo tackles and 41 total tackles in just 9 games.
Murchison recorded 5.5 sacks for a total of 40 yards in losses.
Larrell and his brother, Farrell Murchison, have been on the recruiting trail recently with visits to Kentucky and North Carolina.
