One of Vineyard’s premier players hit a milestone on Monday. Mac Porter, a former principal in Bladen County, and an athlete who attended Elizabethtown High School, aced the second hole at Vineyard Golf at White Lake.
After playing golf for over 60 years Porter recorded his 10th hole in one. Playing with Porter at the time of his ace was Charles DeVane, Lenon Fisher, David Cross and Norgie Hester.
