ELIZABETHTOWN — Isaac Ling and Joshua Hall combined for 24 points Tuesday night to lead Southeastern Homeschool to a 34-24 middle school boys basketball victory over Elizabethtown Christian Academy.
Ling drained a pair of 3-point shots and led all scorers with 14 points. Hall finished with 10 points.
Tucker tossed in a basket, and Ernie nailed a free throw in the opening quarter for ECA, but 9 points from Ling and Hall led the visitors to an 11-3 lead. Miles and Levi pumped in Ram baskets in the 2nd quarter, and Braxton sank a foul shot, but Southeastern stayed on top 16-8 at halftime.
Levi fired in 2 baskets in the 3rd quarter, and Miles cashed in 4 free throws for the Rams. Braxton and Carter netted 2 free throws each as ECA closed the gap to 26-20. Miles threw in a pair of baskets in the final period but Southeastern held on for the win.
Miles led the Rams with 10 points, and Levi added 6 points.
